After decades of turning wrenches, solving tough mechanical problems, and helping everyone around him, Bubba finally decided it was time to open his own shop — something he’s dreamed of for years. Born and raised in New Orleans, we spent a few years in Baton Rouge before settling down in Port Barre, where we found a home with just the right space to turn that dream into a reality.

Bubba is more than a mechanic — he’s a true craftsman, a car whisperer with over 40 years of experience. He’s worked as an electrician, built electrical panels for custom cranes, repaired diesel engines on massive equipment, and put his skills to work in countless small-town shops. But his heart has always been in fixing cars, rebuilding them, modifying them, and helping people get back on the road safely and affordably.

What started as Bubba working out of our home garage to help out a few neighbors and friends quickly grew into a steady stream of customers — and now, we’re proud to serve the Port Barre and greater St. Landry Parish communities with reliable, honest, and affordable auto repair.

What makes Bubba different? He genuinely cares. He treats every vehicle like it’s his own, and every customer like family. Whether you bring your own parts, need help finding budget-friendly used ones, or just need a fair deal to get back on your feet — Bubba is always willing to work with you. He’s known to stop what he’s doing just to give advice or lend a hand, and he’s not afraid to make trades or offer help to those in tough situations. Honesty and fairness are at the core of everything he does.
